The Agricultural formulations facility seeks a Production Shift Supervisor based in Wyoming, Illinois. This position requires an open mind, positive, high-energy individual with strong commitment to safety and results. The individual will supervise all aspects of daily production interacting closely with each work department.

The position is expected to start as a night shift supervisor based on current production schedule, with the requirement to be able to move to days when required, to support 24x7 production.

EH&S: Understand & support FMC (Wyoming's) focus and drive towards an injury free environment

Ensure all EHS policies and procedures are followed 100% of the time.

  • Issue Life Critical Permits

  • Conduct Toolbox meetings on night shift

  • Conduct Incident Investigations.

  • Assist with Forklift certification & re-certification

  • Complete Housekeeping, and other related safety audits

Training

  • Manage operator training and qualifications program

  • Prepare/edit Standard Operating Procedures

  • On-board new employees

  • Assist Operations Manager and Team Leads in development and implementation of employee cross-training

Employee Accountability

  • Weekly Labor Schedule

  • Manage call-offs, attendance records, and Kronos

  • Address safety, quality, reliability, and teamwork concerns that arise on shift

Asset Management

  • Operations review of new products and new processes (Process Safety Review, product launch, etc).

  • Work practices to minimize downtime due to Equipment losses

  • Submit Management of Change as necessary. Ensure training is done with production operators

  • Prepare weekly maintenance schedule and submit and prioritize maintenance work request

Communication

  • Daily shift instructions-work with Operations Manager & Production Services Manager

Bachelors Degree is preferred, but not required

High School or equivalent, with equivalent years of manufacturing experience will be considered.

Manufacturing or production management or lead experience required.

Able to work nights and weekends

Computer skills, proficient with a computer in general

Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

SAP knowledge a plus, but not required
