Network Administrator

In this role, you will perform the maintenance, installation, and training tasks to enable users to maximize productivity. The Network Administrator will also assist in managing assigned portions of a large Novell, Microsoft, or similar network, typically consisting of about eight hundred or more workstations. This is a full-time, 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity located in Woodridge, IL.

  • Experience working with Windows, Cisco route switch, and VMware version 5.0 required

  • Experience working in a Blade/SAN environment; preferably IBM

  • Associates degree and/or experience working in helpdesk/network support

  • CCNA certification required or must be obtained within 90 days of employment

  • Must be willing to travel to other offices for hardware rollouts

  • Must be willing to be on call 24x7 for a minimum of 1-2 weeks/month

  • The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment

  • A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required

  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

  • Must be currently working in a similar position

  • Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
