Position Summary and Responsibilities

Summary

Provides advanced technical expertise through sales presentations and product demonstrations of company products.Understands all aspects of product, application, customer needs, and customer requirements. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Lead technical pre-sales and demonstration requirements for all accounts needing applications or technical support, with a goal to define a closure plan and grow sales.

  • Works with customers technical staff as consultant to define application requirements, technical objectives and scope. Lead company technical solution proposals to customer.

  • Assist customers to understand how our products or systems will satisfy their specific technical application/needs and support sales team in closure of these sales.

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers.

  • Provide client training as required. Manage and maintain the technical content of all training materials.

  • Work with internal resources on all non-standard or customer-sensitive service issues.

  • Assist in the definition of technical and application scope for new product programs

  • Act as the technical customer liaison for all major programs and tasks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 5-10 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Excellent interpersonal/oral and written communication skill

  • MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
