We have several openings for research chemists at our state-of-the-art Research & Development facility in West Chicago, IL. Troubleshoot issues with existing technologies as well as customer challenges
Develop new solvent-based technologies based on customer needs
Evaluate raw materials and optimize formulations for cost-savings opportunities
Provide technical support to manufacturing
Publish project reports & other documents direct to sales & customers
Maintain laboratory equipment
BS. degree in Chemistry or equivalent
Strong Math and Science skills
Proficient with record-keeping
Able to effectively communicate verbally and in written form
Able to interpret data and draw effective conclusions
Additional Qualifications Requested or Helpful:
Knowledge of Flexo & Gravure printing processes
Ink and coating formulation experience
Knowledge & experience with GC, GC/MS, FTIR, Karl Fischer, etc.
