Illini FS is part of the GROWMARK System, an agricultural cooperative serving more than 100,000 customers across North America and Ontario, Canada. * PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT* Under the direction of the Tire Shop Manager, performs tire repairs and replacements for a fast paced, team-based tire center. * ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS* Responsible for repairing, changing, and replacing tires at the tire center and at the farm location. Responsible for providing excellent customer service to our patrons. Responsible for maintaining the shop area and equipment. Assists with maintaining appropriate inventory of parts necessary for repairs and maintenance. Prepare work orders as needed. * OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS* May be required to drive and run local errands as needed. Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply. Performs all other duties as assigned. * REQUIREMENTS* Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof. Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. / Frequently/ exposed or required to: * Extreme weather conditions /(hot, cold, wet, etc.)/ * Noisy conditions * Working conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures * Lift / 71-100 lbs/ * Required to push heavy objects Will be required to work hours other than those considered “normal” to meet seasonal demands. Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
