The Cybersecurity Domain Engineer is responsible for maintaining and securing Active Directory and Azure Active Directory. Areas of concentration include Active Directory, group policy, DNS, PowerShell automation, PKI, Active Directory Federation Services, file share permissions, account management, auditing infrastructure changes and user activity, monitoring of supported systems, incident response, access management. Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures. Identify inadequacies and propose solutions for security posture. Strong written and verbal communication, time management and organization skills are required.Associate's degree in IT or Cybersecurity related field or applicable experience required in lieu of education.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Associate's degree in IT or Cybersecurity related field or five (5) years experience in related field required. CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS One of the following certifications within one year of start date: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate MCSA: Windows Server 2012 MCSA: Windows Server 2016 EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Combined Five (5) years IT or cybersecurity experience, not limited to and including the following tasks: Active Directory, Azure AD, ADFS, PowerShell, Exchange, disaster recovery, group policy, Windows OS, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, PKI, DNS, and understanding of best practices relating to network security and virtualizationExperience working in healthcare industry is preferred. OTHER REQUIREMENTS Maintains a working knowledge of current industry and IT standards and best practices (ITIL, NIST, etc.).Maintains strong understanding of networking concepts and best practices. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Design Active Directory and Azure AD infrastructure.
Build and maintain domain controllers.
Troubleshoot Azure AD identity issues.
Configure SSO integration with hosted or on-premises third-party applications via LDAP and ADFS.
Develop domain-related automation tasks via PowerShell.
Develop and maintain Active Directory disaster recovery plan for business continuity.
Create and maintain documentation for all internal processes.
Assist in technical implementation of Role Based Access Control.
Work with Information Security to establish standard file share permissions and auditing.
Provide advanced technical support for IT teams and information security relating to authentication, access and policies.
Works closely with IT, Information Security and other departments to ensure that all set configurations and security baselines have been met.
Provides incident response to security incidents related to identity, authentication or access.
