    Position Summary:

    The Food & Nutrition Information Systems Coord actively manages and administers the nutrition service software for both food service and clinical functionality across the enterprise. The coordinator is responsible for maintaining a fully functional and integrated software platform that provides the departmental framework for food service production, patient meal service delivery and retail integration. Coordinator oversees the operation of the room service call center at main site and supports the call centers at the additional sites.


    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS Registered Dietitian (RD) Illinois. Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) Illinois. ANSI accredited Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) certification or valid Illinois Food Service Sanitation Manager Certification within 90 days of hire. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Relevant experience. One (1) year experience as a registered dietitian preferred. OTHER REQUIREMENTS Experience with nutrition software platforms (Computrition preferred).

    Essential Functions:

  • Administers the functionality of the Computrition software across the enterprise ensuring that the software is operational and fully integrated to support multiple departments food production systems, patient nutrition and retail integration.

  • Serves as the primary liaison between Carle and Computrition.

  • Establishes processes and procedures that facilitate departmental activities and support enterprise-wide services.

  • Manages the room service call center at main campus while providing support to call centers at additional sites.

  • Provides education for all staff utilizing Computrition software tools throughout the enterprise.

  • Maintains software and generates reports to assist site leadership in formulating operational and capital budgets and tracking productivity through meal equivalencies.
