Marine Bank Information Systems Assistant in Springfield, Illinois
Job Descriptions:
Purpose: The Information Systems Assistant will work closely with the Director of Information Systems to provide support for the bank’s network, systems, and users.
Assists in the preparation, organization, implementation and maintenance of department policies, procedures, and conditions, including those that comply with various regulatory and compliance agencies.
Assists in the monitoring and reporting of any information systems data regarding compliance to Bank and other regulatory standards to management.
Assists in the operation and maintenance of information systems security controls.
Assists in the configuration, staging, deployment and re-deployment of end user equipment.
Assists in the installation and troubleshooting of peripheral equipment including but not limited to keyboards, mouse, printers, DVD drives, scanners.
Assists in the installation and troubleshooting of various software programs.
Assists with any modifications of configurations, utilities, default settings, etc. on end user equipment.
Assists in network administration, including but not limited to email/exchange administration, active directory, patch management, and content filter settings.
Assists in the management and support of host programs including but not limited to CSI and FISERV.
Maintains records of purchases, locations of, and maintenance of all computers, software and printing equipment.
Assists in the planning and preparation of disaster recovery and data back-up procedures.
Assists in the maintenance security of data on our network and helps secure the back-up of all network data daily.
Assists in coordination of various IS trainings for staff.
Assists in providing helpdesk support to the end users satisfaction.
Develops and maintains records and reports as determined by the department director.
Insures proper confidentiality and control of all assigned information.
Assists in coordinating the ordering of materials, supplies, and equipment within budgetary guidelines.
Other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and/or Education:
An associate degree in Computer Science or related experience preferred.
Experience in developing and supporting Microsoft Office applications.
Experience deploying and supporting desktop computes and printers.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Diagnostic capabilities.
Ability to maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
Ability to adhere to safety regulations and procedures.
