CWS provides IT solutions and end-to-end Network Operations to federal customers around the globe, including the United States Air Force (USAF), The Department of Department of Defense (DoD) as well as civilian federal agencies.


The Air Mobility Command (AMC), Surgeon General, Medical Information Technology (IT), Network & Desktop Support Services (DSS) seeks deployment, training, information assurance, ad hoc enhancement support, integration, and support requiring staffing and technical expertise that meets the HQ AMC/Surgeon General (SG)?and base Communications Squadron (CS) needs. The program’s AE Electronic Health Record (AE EHR) and Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA)?requires services and software updates for devices in sustainment of the AE EHR and AHLTA-T CCATT Modules and requires on-site Medical IT Network and Desktop Support Services for HQ AMC/SG and the 375 MDG at Scott Air Force Base, IL.?

CWS is seeking an onsite Medical IT Support Analyst - Senior to provide Medical IT support and sustainment of the AE EHR capability as well as support of HQ AMC/SG IM/IT program integration at Scott Air Force Base, IL. The Analyst will provide service desk support such as maintaining workstations with current software, configuring, applying, and troubleshooting software upgrades; performing diagnostics and recovery procedures; managing software licenses; providing support, troubleshooting and training for hardware and software applications; replacing obsolete equipment; reformatting/reimaging systems; installing hardware and software upgrades; providing diagnostic services and system recovery; sanitizing and preparing for shipment or disposal of obsolete equipment/systems; answering incoming calls; logging, updating and closing trouble tickets in a tracking system.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

+ Attend meetings and conferences necessary for the sustainment of the AE EHR and AHLTA-T CCATT Module interface capability and in support of HQ AMC/SG IM/IT program integration.

+ Write Status and Management Report.

+ Provide operational support include fielding, technical expertise, maintenance, and sustainment for hardware, software, and technical writing to maintain mission readiness. Configure, integrate, distribute, and troubleshoot various personal computer (PC)-based microcomputers, printers, and associated software applications which might include COTS and locally developed utilities and application software. Provide initial responses to the COR for technical support in a timely manner.

+ Plan, analyze, troubleshoot, integrate, install, operate, maintain, train, document, and administer services for existing and future EHR and integrated medical IT systems.

+ Coordinate all medical IT capability degradations, outages, and resolutions with appropriate agencies or activities.

+ Train in desktop publishing, end-user security awareness, telecommunications, operating systems, software packages, and Air Force Standard Desktop Configuration (SDC) as included in the AE EHR package.

+ Coordinate logistical support for AE EHR systems at existing and proposed fielding sites to include in-person meetings with Government representatives at all Active Duty, Guard, and Reserve bases with Aeromedical Evacuation quadrons, patient staging activities, and Critical Care Air Transport Teams. Provide an Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP).

+ Maintain the centralized hardware tracking system that supports hardware problem resolution and distributes general information concerning security updates and group policies.

+ Address interoperability and connectivity issues for the network, which may include recommendations and requirement for reconfiguration and relocation of Local/Wide Area Network (LAN)/(WAN) equipment in order to meet operational requirements with the COR.

+ Provide Level 2 system support via telephone and in-person training as required.

+ Provide continuous process improvement using customer feedback, analysis, and audits.

+ Support Operational global CCATT and other Medical exercises where electronic health records are used on site.

+ Prepare and support all medical electronic health equipment during and prior to global exercises.

+ Provide research on new IT equipment specifications for upgrade efforts.

+ Provide technical support through the analysis of software applications, perform repair and maintenance, configuration management, and resolution of integration problems, and make appropriate enhancements as approved by COR to existing systems as well as assist customers in identifying their requirements and problems.
