Enterprise System Administrator

The individual will perform server administration tasks and be required to serve as a subject matter expert in one or more assigned areas of responsibility. Assigned areas of responsibility include but are not limited to Active Directory, Exchange, SCCM, SCOM, Mobile Technologies, NetIQ/Microfocus (DRA / GPA), vESD, and Microsoft Threat Management Gateway. The individual will deploy new versions and upgrades to these services, perform troubleshooting, and provide overall tier 3 support. The individual may perform troubleshooting of unusual and unexpected issues affecting a large enterprise network. The individual will maintain overall operational awareness, proactively monitoring for service outages and utilize Remedy ticketing system for Incident and Change tracking. The individual will collaborate with various directorates to create and/or validate various technical documents. Finally, the individual will provide weekly status reports to the team lead.
Experience: 5 years of IT experience (A BS/BA can substitute for 4 years of experience), specifically in network and systems design and integration into an enterprise environment
Active SECRET clearance
Certificates: DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (Security )
Knowledge of IA controls
Strong troubleshooting and conflict resolution skills
In-depth knowledge of one or more of the identified areas of responsibility
Prior DoD or USAF working environment experience a plus
Strong Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policy experience
Experience, vendor training, and/or certification in one or more of the following services:Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, VMware, SCCM, SCOM, TMG, Mobile Technologies (Blackberry, AirWatch, Acronis, etc.)
Remedy Incident Management and Change Management
