Position Description:

Position Summary:

Responsible for assisting in the delivery of new warehouse processes as part the U.S. Warehouse Management System (WMS) project. This role will focus on site preparation analysis and activities; and analysis and validation of configuration within the Warehouse Management System to ensure it functions correctly. 

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Lead advance shipping notification (ASN) design and configuration.

  • Perform supplier/vendor on-boarding to advance shipping notification requirement (training and master data set-up)

  • Monitor and ensure supplier/vendor compliance.

  • Support and coordinate Warehouse Management System base configuration and distribution center specific configuration.

  • Process flows, task groups, provide user access.Update warehouse layout and pick paths

  • Development of WMS test scripts and training scripts

  • Provide Warehouse Management Systems user training.

  • Development of training materialsDelivery of training material

  • Support WMS change management processes

  • Develop change management materials.

  • Delivery of change management materials and interaction with WMS users

  • Act as liaison to distribution and supply chain partners

  • Initiate supply chain analytics

  • Manage own work to deliver according to project schedules; be accountable for delivery of own work product.

  • Supplier and carrier performance measures

  • Provide distribution center operational support as necessary

  • Other projects or duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or business-related field with a minimum of 2+ years related experience with WMS applications OR a high school diploma with at least 5 years related experience with WMS applications.

  • Extensive experience with a top tier Warehouse Management System, preferably Manhattan WMS or WMOS.

  • Consistent and solid verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated experience and success in the following with little to no supervision.

  • Ability to multi-task and focus on multiple functions or projects during any given time.

  • Analysis of complex issues

  • Incident and problem management

  • Managing deadlines and scope

  • Dealing with uncomfortable or pressure situations

  • Ability to translate business requirements and functional specifications into a technical solution. 

  • Must be available for travel within North American service area - Up to 90% travel

  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
