This is a full time exempt position.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for overseeing the effective operation of the production facility. This includes; production planning/scheduling, supervision and management of production hourly colleagues, monitoring and development of process and colleague performance, and ensuring personnel coverage and output meets the needs of the location. This position has a key role in helping to ensure all safety, quality and service objectives are met. This position is a member of the location leadership team and works closely with other leaders, supervisors, and lead personnel at the facility to ensure that the ADM Animal Nutrition Vision is achieved.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing daily production on multiple shifts, ensuring compliance with company policy, quality assurance, regulations established by FDA, EPA, and OSHA and following cGMP’s.

  • Responsible for providing leadership, managing, hiring, training, coaching and developing production personnel.

  • Responsible for safety culture—promoting safe behavior, implementing safety programs and oversight of training requirements.

  • Responsible for maintaining and updating production WI and SOPs.

  • Accountable for training and ensuring adherence to production WI and SOPs by production operators.

  • Responsible for identifying and executing cost management initiatives.

  • Support location colleagues and leadership team through continuous improvement efforts; as well as various other duties as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) with 3-5 years of manufacturing and 5 years of supervisory/management experience

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills!

  • Ability to effectively work and contribute to a team environment!

  • Computer skills in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook

  • History of working safely and a reputation for promoting and getting involved in safety improvement efforts
