Aerotek Electronics Technician in Park Ridge, Illinois

Job Description:

Responsibilities :

  • Day to day:

  • Responsible for planning and implementation of electrical, mechanical, audio, and environmental tests of current and new product designs. We are looking for someone who demonstrates intense collaboration, is passionate team focused, thoughtful, fast, and disciplined in the execution of tasks.

  • Requests to test and measure

  • Environmental testing

  • Chamber tests - heat, humidity

  • Run pretests to collect data and details

  • Taking pictures and documenting the flaws of the products

  • Will be using multi meters, o scopes..

  • Piece parts together and provide the details to the system for data capture


  • Must Haves:

  • 2-5 years of experience – no degree required!

  • Electronics tech that comes from manufacturing company that has done thermal testing (need to know the stress tests, thermal testing)

  • Worked with thermal chambers / environmental chambers

  • Verbal skills – being able to communicate well within the team

  • Plus Haves:

  • Acoustical items (micro phones, speakers.. etc)

  • Soldering
