Job Description:

ECS has an opening on the Global Air Transportation Execution System (GATES) team for a mid-level configuration manager. The configuration manager applies expertise to multiple work assignments supporting both worldwide operational users and local developers. Duties include management of functional requirements, through system design, testing, delivery, and fielding. Writes scripts for installation of software packages, patches, and database objects. Updates internal and deliverable documentation as required. The configuration manager works as part of a team and independently occasionally.



Required Skills:





+ Must be a U.S. Citizen



+ Bachelors or equivalent years of experience



+ Must have a Secret Clearance



+ Strong scripting skills to include but not limited to Bash, Windows Batch, etc.



+ Experience with Git archive management tools and commands



+ Good organizational skills



+ Good communication skills





Desired Skills:





+ Familiarity with U.S. Transportation Command and Air Mobility Command IT



+ Familiarity with Agile/DevOps, and associated software tools



+ Familiar with automated pipelines (Infrastructure, build, deploy, testing)



+ Familiar with Lifecycle Management Tools, (i.e. CLM)



+ Familiarity with team Collaboration and Wiki tools



+ Familiarization with Artifactory



+ GitLab experience



+ Jenkins experience



+ Linux package building tool



+ Windows package building tools



+ Operating System agnostic patching skills



+ Familiar with Java and JavaScript
