CVS Health Java Architect-Senior Advisor in Northbrook, Illinois

Job Description

As a Java Application Developer, you will work with and lead both full- employees and contracted resources to execute project work within the IT organization at CVS Health. You will ensure that project initiatives and guidelines meet both internal and client requirements and are delivered on-time.

The Senior Advisor leads a team of developers to deliver the design, code, and deployment of RESTful API services, Rule services and Business Process Management Services for the next generation of Specialty pharmacy applications.

Work on Medium, Large and Portfolio Projects to complete JBPM development tasks including providing SDLC artifacts.

Work closely with Business Analyst and IT teams to technically translate users’ requirements and baseline bpm solutions.

Prioritize requirements and create conceptual prototypes and mock-ups.

Design /Architect JBPM based engines in cloud-native environment.

Implement process automation using JBPM, Java based web-services & service tasks and batch oriented automation.

Identify improvement points in the project process and in the development tools / Environment utilized for rule base development.

Work with the process design modeler & reporting that's offered in the JBPM product.

Work on JBOSS server and JBPM configurations for optimization in Linux environment.

Work on Red Hat JBPM, BRMS & Micro services technologies.

Develop processes and script rules into Drools/JBoss Business Rules Management System BRMS.

Provide recommendations on BPM solutions and/or best practices in the governance, design and architecture of the solution.

Ensuring smooth working of BPM engine and logical access/use to the end users.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of overall IT experience including the following:

3+ years of experience working in Integration platforms using Drools and other Redhat products

3+ years of experience implementing Business Processes on Redhat JBPM and designing integrated solution using Redhat JBPM as a middleware.

5+ years of experience as Enterprise Java Developer, developing and designing enterprise-wide distributed solutions & in providing hands-on lead role in executing project implementation

Experience in Java, J2EE Design Patterns, Object-Oriented design, Algorithms and Optimizations Experience in Spring, Web Services, and JMS.Service Oriented Design & implementing RESTful APIs, JSON, Web services

Experience building and consuming Micro Services. Experience in Database like Maria DB, Oracle, etc. Excellent communication skills.

Proven ability to work independently with minimal guidance.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Insurance or Healthcare

Experience working in Integration platforms using JBPM.

Education

Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent field.
