Robert Half International Logistics Clerk in NAPERVILLE, Illinois


Do you have experience working as a Logistics Clerk coordinating shipments? Candidates looking for great work in the Naperville, Illinois area as Logistics Clerks could be interested in this position through OfficeTeam. This position is in charge of coordinating with vendors, arranging shipments, and processing customer orders. Ideal candidates for this role can also be responsible for performing a heavy amount of data entry and customer service functions. Major responsibilities

  • Verify freight bills and process bills of lading

  • Follow-up with carriers, as necessary

  • Watch, monitor, and sustain dispatch & progress of orders on time and to meet delivery requirements

  • Convey and organize with inventory and sales management; warehouse; logistics for service changes

  • Conform to guidelines for approving carriers

  • Perform various administrative duties


  • 2+ years' experience with shipping/logistics

  • Customer service oriented communication skills

  • Can you offer experience in purchasing, inventory control, transportation and warehousing functions to a position?

  • Outstanding data entry skills

  • Shipping experience

  • Knowledge of data entry

  • Means to operate basic office equipment, complete general office work and route incoming materials
