Project management / coordination and cost reduction projects will be implemented and lead. CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


+ Oversee Warehouse and Production (WC300 and WC450) project implementations, improvements and standardization of best practices through the responsible areas of management. Troubleshoot and resolve failures and obstacles including root cause analysis and resolution communication to the team. Ensure issues are tracked, reported, managed and escalated as needed.


+ Create, manage and execute cost saving, productivity increase, quality and standardization projects.


+ Lead Kaizen events designed to support the successful execution of warehouse and production projects.


+ Identify process improvement methods within current and new business processes. Evaluate programs and projects to ensure requirements and goals are met or exceeded. Assemble adhoc teams to implement all process improvement projects. Create metrics and follow-up to all projects to measure success and mainstream adoption of process imporvement projects.


+ Chair the Simple Kaizen committee. Create relevant metrics to measure success and champion the implementation of simple kaizens.


+ Lead the Gemba walks and Gemba team. Maintain and enforce 6S. Enforce and train employees on company policy, procedures,modifying and improving assembly technique to improve quality and productivity.


+ Coordinate and facilitate meetings between different departments for common grounds being found to improve


+ Develop and mentor staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; build and maintain employee morale and motivation; ensure the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies.
