The Buyer role plans, sources, and processes Purchase Orders for all component parts to support manufacturing. and ensures on-time deliveries. The Buyer communicates with the suppliers any changes made to specifications of the products and updates any existing Purchase Orders. Role will support Lean Supply Chain activity and cost reduction projects.
•Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university
•Three-Five years’ experience in a High-Mix Low-Volume manufacturing environment (Electronics manufacturing).
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Strong negotiating skills
•Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge and experience of MRP systems (planning and purchasing).
•Knowledge of Infor ERP and other Business System processes.
•Experience in FDA medical device and electronics manufacturing preferred
•Strong organization and communication skills.
•Robust training of tools and resources with software application related to ERP.
