Group O IT Help Desk Technician in Milan, Illinois
Group O has an immediate need for a IT Help Desk Technician. This position will be responsible for maintaining support for hardware, software, inventory, and other IT related technologies.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Day to day support of end users, hardware, software, peripherals, and various IT and non IT related tasks.
Accountable to SLA’s and quality of service standards.
First point of contact for end user PC and telephony issues.
Troubleshoot network related issues for end user equipment.
Solve end-user problems utilizing phone and remote control software.
Account maintenance of Active Directory user accounts.
Installing, reloading, and troubleshooting Windows 7 operating system and applications.
Installation and maintenance of laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals.
Add, move, and change end user equipment
The ideal candidate will have an intermediate working knowledge of PC’s and associated hardware along with basic networking and troubleshooting skills. Other requirements include:
Minimum 2 years experience in a Help Desk or similar role.
Demonstrated problem solving and technical ability.
Intermediate IT knowledge – PCs, networking, printers and peripherals.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Data entry skills.
Attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Ability to lift 50lbs.
