Position Summary:

Supervise and coordinate purchasing/inventory activities for the Distribution Center.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of related experience.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Strong, interactive team player.

• Integrative thinker and excellent problem solving skills.

• High initiative, self-motivation and strong leadership skills.

• Must be detail oriented, conscientious, able to work independently, with strong organizational and communication skills in a fast paced environment.?

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• College degree preferred

• Proficiency with JDE

• Distribution experience

• Basic understanding of McDonald’s related products.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

Oversee Centralized Purchasing with regards to DC inventory.

Advise of capacity issues or short pick situations.

Work with to keep DC in stock and prevent overstock.

Provide constructive feedback to management on CP performance.

Inbound delivery performance reviews.

Provide up to date backhaul schedules to CP.

Analyze and maintain proper inventory levels to meet customer requirements.

Place product orders with vendors and communicate with vendors as necessary.

Responsible for daily cycle counts, inventory adjustments and physical inventories.

Communication of promotional events to MB CP in coordination with RSM,

Ensure promotional items are received, shipped and accounted for, including seed store kits.

Work with LSS on overages to determine cause for future promotions.

Coordinate purchasing/receiving activities with Warehouse Manager and Supervisor(s).

Manage inventory adjustments process; damages, in house, donations, etc.

Invoicing DC’s for transfer of products from Harriman.

Maintain salability of items to enable proper ROP ordering.

Track weekly on hand quantity and assess inventory levels.

Review completed receivers for quality and errors.

Reverse ship enables.

Place PO’s on as needed basis; frozen buns, Coke Freestyle, etc.

Manage PLD process working with Warehouse.

Other projects or duties as assigned..
