Volt is seeking a Supply Management Specialist to work onsite at John Deere’s facility in East Moline, IL. This is a contingent position forecasted for 3 years.
Within this role, you will:
Source experimental parts, post RFQs, and award spot buy requests
Maintain experimental supply base for assigned commodity - performance, capabilities
Monitor open deliveries and solicit shipment confirmation from supply base
Mitigate mis-alignment between inbound flow and outbound flow of experimental parts
Assist in build execution, including the order, sourcing, delivery, and shipment of assigned parts
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Management, Engineering or Business
Experience in a fast-paced team environment
Experience with Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong written and oral communication skills
A strong candidate will also have:
Technical experience - welding, laser/bend, casting, hydraulic, plastics, and/or electrical
Ability to read a print and understand GD&T requirements
* This position is located in East Moline, IL. Candidates must be able to relocate to this location at their own expense. *
Must be available to work on W2 for Volt. No C2C or 3rd party vendors please.
