They are responsible for performing user support to faculty on distance learning platforms including but not limited to the course management system (Western Online), video-conferencing platforms for teaching and learning, such as Zoom and Google Meet, online proctoring applications such as Respondus LockDown Browser, Monitor, and Honorlock, and other internal applications. Support at this level can include but may not be limited to face-to-face support, phone support, virtual support through chat or video-conferencing, technical writing, and maintenance of support documentation, and an online knowledge base housing support and training materials related to Distance Education and Support at Western.
