Adecco is assisting a client located in Machesney Park, IL in hiring 3rd shift Assemblers. This role would be a temp to hire opportunity!

Job duties for an Assembler include but are not limited to:

• Responsible to correctly set up and perform a limited number of subassembly, assembly, testing, and packing operations within the Assembly department.

• Ensure productivity is maintained at 100% or above to minimize cost to the department, while maintaining schedule integrity.

• Ensure that the quality of products being made is within company standards, limiting customer dissatisfaction.

• Assemble small and large parts using fingers, hands, wrists arms and shoulders.

• Recognize potential problems with products or processes to ensure that company quality standards are maintained and trouble shoot as necessary.

• Ability to read simple prints and engineering specifications.

• Identify non-conforming product and follow ISO procedures.

• Provide input during testing and final acceptance.

• Responsible for completing any attendant SPC paperwork as well as other routine paperwork required by the department.

• Ensure that accuracy, neatness and legibility of paperwork is maintained, minimizing cost to the department through elimination of tracking and corrections of mistakes.

  You must meet the following qualifications for an Assembly role:

• HSD/GED required

• Previous Assembly experience is preferred

• Lift 50lbs often
