Kelly Services has multiple openings for Medical assemblyr located in Lake Zurich, IL These positions are temporary-to-hire with overtime.
Pay: $14.00/HR - $15.00/hr
1st Shift is Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:00pm
Produce small assembled parts according to product specs
Manufacturing processes to produce product include drilling, cutting, measuring, mounting, and assembling
Maintain good working relationships with other co-workers
Keep track of materials, tools and procedures as the device is manufactured
Have good hand eye coordination and be able to work under a microscope
Have a good basic level of mechanical ability
Have and demonstrate good judgment
Have the ability to maintain confidential information, in accordance with Company policy
Have the ability to work with little supervision and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner
Have the ability to work daily and overtime as required
Have the ability to assist in other work related areas as required
Have the ability to use a variety of assembly equipment and hand tools including but not limited to: tweezers, razor blade, scalpel, wire cutter, clippers, needle nose pliers, screwdriver, Allen wrenches, and ring light (magnifying glass)
Have the ability to use a variety of assembly equipment including lab oven, glue dispenser, trimming lathe, and computer operated saw
Be able to do occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
High School Diploma or equivalent experience
2-5 years manufacturing experience (medical device production experience preferred).
Good hand to eye coordination
Good listener and ability to follow detailed oral and written directions well
Reliable and good work ethic
Able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Perform different tasks daily
Write log entries
Work mostly on feet or at a bench utilizing a microscope for assembly
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be flexible to work overtime
