We are looking for a User Interface (UI) Developer with a technical focus to create a great user experience. The experience should make web and mobile apps simple, fun and easy to interact with. The UI job requires analytical thought processes alongside robust designs, with a focus on the technical aspects to deliver the user with a positive experience. This position can be located in Joliet, IL, Westchester, IL or Omaha, NE.
Duties & Responsibilities
Design and build applications for Mobile and Web platform
Integrate front-end applications with the application business layer
Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
Create mock-ups, wireframes and high-fidelity user interfaces
Ensure design consistency with the development standards and guidelines
Communicate project status / progress / reports to product owners and stakeholders
Seek feedback from technical and business users
Bachelor’s in related curriculum such as Information Systems
3+ years experience development experience designing and building UIs on .NET server platform in team environment
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT
Familiar with Agile and DevOps development process (VSTS)
Understand the differences and development needs multiple browsers and device types
Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
Quick learner, motivated self-starter, team player
Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
