Production Associate I is an entry level position responsible for the knowledge of each job function on the floor (cut, pack, assemble, modules, sewing etc.) This position will intel but not limited to using an industrial staple gun and/or tape machine to form complete units or sub-assemblies, at a bench, conveyor or on the floor, and pack in designated cartons according to customer specifications and company policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Under general supervision, perform a variety of tasks requiring a good working knowledge of assembly techniques, materials, schedules, tools, machines and equipment, including, but not limited to: folding, assembling, labeling, laying or rolling stock, inspecting, cutting, and/or boxing, at efficiency standards dictated by the department.
Immediately report to supervisor or group leader any unusual material, equipment problems or work conditions that would hinder operations, represents deviations from quality standards, good manufacturing practices or adversely affects safety standards.
Work from product specifications or manuals to ensure a quality product. Inspect work as needed.
Ability to move between job functions of operations with some ease.
Perform simple, routine and repetitive tasks using standard procedures.
Maintain housekeeping in assigned work area at all times of line stoppage during production runs and at the end of the shift.
Perform all duties safely, wearing required personal protective equipment, such as: gloves, apron, safety glasses, back support, etc.
Observe all safety rules and immediately report hazards to the supervisor.
Be punctual and at work daily.
Follow all company rules and regulations, per the Employee Handbook or department policy.
Perform other duties as required

We offer a starting hourly rate of $15.87 plus a $2.00/hr shift premium, including a comprehensive benefits package. In addition, you can earn a Retention Bonus of up to $1,000.
Able to work overtime on short notice.
Able to perform tasks in a standing position for long periods of time
Able to reach, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs.), twist, squat, push and pull.
Good manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
Able to speak, read and write in English highly desired.
High school diploma or equivalent level of education highly desired.
Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
Able to perform tasks in a standing position for long periods of time. Ability to work quickly and efficiently while keeping pace with the machinery.
