Kelly Services Maintenance Technician in Itasca, Illinois

Job Description

A leading manufacturer currently is seeking a Maintenance Technician on 2nd Shift. This Maintenance Technician will be responsible for repair, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and production on machines and equipment. This position is located either in Roselle or Itasca, IL.

Shift: 2nd -2pm-10:30pm

Pay: $27-30/HR based on experience and qualifications.

Additional duties:

Maintain and perform major repairs and rebuilds on production and auxiliary machinery along with preventative maintenance.

Perform 5S activities and improvements as required.

Strong emphasis on electrical maintenance including PLC, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.

Track and report machine downtime and document and quality issues.

Must haves:

Minimum of 3 years as a Maintenance Technician in high volume manufacturing environment.

Prior experience with measuring and hand tools.

Able to read blueprints/schematics.

Able to work mandatory overtime.

Experience with metal fabrication and PLC controls.

High School Diploma or GED required.
