The Automation Anywhere Lead Engineer will have at least 5 years’ experience in building Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions; ideally with the Automation Anywhere software platform.
The Automation Anywhere Lead Engineer will be part of the global RPA COE team based in the US and will work closely with the global team to deliver and deploy RPA solutions. You will oversee a team of engineers to attain desired automation business outcomes. You will work in a high energy, fun and engaging work environment with talented colleagues from diverse backgrounds and experiences. As the lead engineer you will perform requirements analysis and develop automation solution using a suite of automation solutions, primarily being Automation Anywhere while leading the development engineers to align with the COE best practices.
Build and maintain scalable, resilient, secure, and efficient Automation Anywhere solutions to meet established SLAs and desired business outcomes
Act as the overall SCRUM master and lead scrum calls driving accountability on the assigned tasks
Owns the collective responsibility of developing, testing and releasing the product
Automates web interfaces, desktop application interfaces, PDF, database, excel and web services
Create stored procedure, joins, DDL and DML operations • MetaBOT creations, DLL and building reusable components
WLM/Queue creations in AA
Provides application support for maximum quality and productivity levels of the product
Supports control room set-up and ongoing maintenance activities; including, but not limited to the following:
Access management in accordance with RPA program and policies
Manage the privileges of users
Granting and revoking access to various environments as and when required
Proposes and implements systems enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system
Ensure that the operation of the infrastructure is in according with established RPA procedures and practices
Responsible for administrating, maintaining, enhancing and implementing RPA system changes
Provision “Bot” user accounts in different directories
Grant “Bot” user account required access to systems and
Support re-accreditation of Bot user account as needed
Ensure “Bot” authentication and provisioning solution architecture remains aligned to organizational enterprise policy
Monitor applications and services within the environments, participate in on-call rotation, take actions to resolve issues and implement strategies to prevent future occurrences
Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for Service Incidents
Must be United States citizen
Minimum overall 6 years of experience in IT
Must have Automation Anywhere working experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in RPA.
3-5 years’ experience in 24x7 production operations, preferably supporting a highly available environment for a SaaS vendor or other cloud service provider
Hands-on experience in latest version (A2019) of Automation Anywhere
Automation Anywhere Certified RPA Professional is preferred
Prior deployment experience in human resources, finance or health care domains is preferred.
Good experience in database (Creation of stored procedure, joins, DDL and DML operations)
Knowledge on RPA BOT deployment cycle and Agile development methodologies
Excellent communication skills and ability to discuss complex technical concepts with engineers as well as end users
Should be analytical and able to improvise configuration and code to adopt to new situations
Strong problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to learn new things with initiative, curiosity and courage
Ability to work within diverse global and virtual teams
Good communication skills, written and verbal in English
Well organized and can take direction and work independently
Strong team collaboration skills
