Responsibilities:

• Key functional and management position

• In charge of managing the laboratory executing microbiological, chemical, and physical and sensorial analysis

• Actively involved in cross functional work with Production, R&D/Technology and Corporate Central Quality Laboratory

• Will oversee a brand-new laboratory and new analytical equipment and methodology

• Laboratory Development and Management

• Propose new equipment, new methodologies

• Manage a budget

• Manage outsourced analysis

• Ensure GMP

• Act as a coach and provide technical support

• Key member of the food safety team

• Incoming raw materials and Packaging Management

• Manage the teams schedule

• Review analytical results

• Oversee release of materials

• Provide trend analysis to Quality Manager

• Manage the status of the stock

Requirements:

• B.S. in Microbiology and/or Chemistry, Food Science preferred, or another related field

• Minimum 4 years in a Quality Lab Supervisor/Manager role in plant in food industry

• GMP experience

• Root cause analysis experience

• GFSI standards (FSSC 22000, SQF, BRC) required, Quality Standards ISO 17025 is a plus
