Position Summary

Perform duties required of the forge department in support of and to assist production. Assist Blacksmith with all forging activities. Sweep excess scale and keep dies clean. Lift, carry, and turn material during forging process. Stamp and identify all forged parts to maintain proper tractability. Retrieve and set up forging tools under the direction of the Blacksmith. Operate various forging equipment to position materials and dies as needed. Load forge furnaces while maintaining tractability and creating the corresponding furnace map per the appropriate procedure. Work in cooperation with a strong team atmosphere.

Technical Skills:

Fork truck license

Forge/Hammer experience


High School Diploma or GED required.
