Responsibilities: Perform database programming by writing Structured Query Language (SQL) procedures on large-scale databases. Design and implement data solutions including data partitioning, data normalizing, de-normalizing, data aggregations, and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) to support the data warehouse environment. Develop new database schema and objects and review existing objects to improve storage efficiency and access. Create, review, analyze, and modify SQL scripts, procedures and support programs to ensure proper execution, efficient operation, and sustainable coding constructs. Perform technical troubleshooting to diagnose, isolate, and correct data and database issues. Conduct data analysis to identify data integrity issues within databases, interfaces, or other data related repositories, as well as make design recommendations for database functions that meet business operating standards while improving the efficiency of business processes. Apply security controls within the SQL and database environments to minimize security risks. Write technical support documentation for software applications including operational usage or procedures, and user guides. Create packages, reports and Cubes using Business Intelligence (BI) tools.WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M F (8:30 a.m. 5:00 p.m.) JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Application, Information Technology or a related field plus (6) years of related experience. Two years of experience must include: SQL Server; BI tools including SSIS, SSRS & SSAS (ETL or data integrations, reporting related functions, and Cube for analysis); Microsoft.NET, Excel VBA, Visual Basic or C#. Net; Enterprise Data Warehouse environment/BI; Database ER diagrams; Data migrations/Upgradation; SQL ad hoc, MDX, and DAX queries; Batch scripts to automate deployments; SQL Profiler & Performance Monitor tool; HTML5; JavaScript; Restful and SOAP-based web services, including JSON and XML; and PowerShell scripting.QUALIFIED APPLICANTS: To apply for this position, please respond to requisition 201456 at http://jobs.adp.com.
