Application Support& Development - In Application Development, you will be assigned to a team developing and supporting IT applications that are used globally by internal and external process partners. Our applications are both purchased and in-house developed, within a complex environment integrated across the functional areas of our company.
Robotics Process Automation – RPA is looking to expand their webservices team which is a true Middleware space run on cloud infrastructure. This team uses OpenShift and Tomcat that is run top of OS application.
IT Security - Here you will test and monitor information security controls, analyze IT security incidents, and manage security system updates, software installations, user management, malware, and threat intelligence.
Cloud Technologies- Caterpillar is aggressively pursuing public cloud computing with multiple cloud-based platforms. Jobs in this space include cloud platform as a service application development, cloud solution architecture, cloud security operations, cloud solution engineering, and the delivery of global public cloud capabilities.
Hosting Services - Linux administrator in Caterpillar’s Technical Infrastructure within GIS provides level 2/3 support for the Red Hat Linux server environment. Additional responsibilities include for this opportunity are coordinate with SOX/IT Controls teams to supply evidence for server compliance, participate in Linux related enhancement/upgrade projects and remediate vulnerabilities related to Linux servers. You will work closely with internal/external business partners to design, implement and support the GIS Linux compute environment.
Service Center Services- This role will help implement automation technical solution for our customer. Being able to understand the customers’ needs and creating solutions by using automation, analytics, IT analyst skills, is crucial.

Currently attending a 4-year accredited university/college or have completed a minimum Bachelor’s degree in an IT degree related program or sequence
Minimum cumulative GPA requirement 2.8 (no rounding)
Graduation date between May 2020 through May 2021 Desired Qualifications:
Previous internship in Information Technology
Strong communication, teamwork, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Strong problem solving and customer service skills
Strong ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed
Ability to work independently and manage time as well as being a collaborative team member
Able to manage own duties including setting priorities
