Aerotek Purchasing Assistant in East Alton, Illinois
In need of a Purchasing Assistant/Admin to come in and support the Purchasing Dept. They've recently consolidated a lot of suppliers so there is a lot of administrative work that needs to be completed on the back end.
Updating SAP with all of the current/active suppliers' information
Doing some service entries
Using Excel to update part information (ie: price or location)
Will be spending a majority of their time in SAP in the Materials Manager Module
SAP, purchasing, PO, Purchase Order, ERP, Administrative Support
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Need SAP (and if they've worked in the Materials Management Module in SAP, that is preferred)
Need to have drive and autonomy.
Need to work well with others.
High School Graduate or equivalent
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel spreadsheets
Ability to work and communicate effectively with team members, vendors and other departments within the organization
Ability to work independently and manage priorities
