Calling all Technical Support Coordinators – a great opportunity to join a strong team!
Our Technical/Dispatch Service Coordinator will provide and coordinate service order execution from dispatch thru completion to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Make solid, informed business decisions in the execution of Elkay’s Warranty Policy.
Our technical service coordinators are the face/voice of the company and we expect exceptional service from them.
The Impact You Will Have:
Provide technical service information and support to field service agencies to ensure required product performance, maximum satisfaction, efficiency and accuracy of installations, parts, product replacement, and equipment operation.
Maintain and report warranty status for products and parts. Assist in the investigation of existing field problems or complaints.
Assist in the development and presentation of technical operation and service manuals, service and parts bulletins, or aids for field service agencies and/or customer personnel
Authorize repair or replacement of defective products using warranty as guideline, and reports and maintains records of such defective products while promoting good customer relations
Onboard new vendors and customers ensuring each party complies with contracts, documentation, training, and communication requirements
High school degree or equivalent required; associates degree preferred
Work-related experience in technical services, customer care, installation or purchasing
Experience in inside sales, scheduling, order management, basic accounting, customer service preferred
Technical training / certifications in HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, and Electrical systems is a plus
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
