Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity with good solid company for an Application Consultant who will p erform a range of activities required to enable the client to successfully implement and utilize our software applications. Typically reports to a project manager on larger projects. May work independently on smaller projects or under guidance of senior consultants on larger projects. Demonstrates full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures. Resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative and practical manner. Typical tasks may include configuration, training, testing, documentation, issue troubleshooting and general implementation support. Interacts frequently and regularly with clients and is adept at establishing positive working relationships. Researches and analyzes problems, determines options and recommends solutions to the client.

Client Projects: Duties will be determined on a project by project basis, but tasks may include configuration, training, business process design, testing, and other duties as required.

Resolving customer issues: Work with other resources to resolve issues as necessary.

Play an active role in EMEA Services team: Actively participate in Services meetings locally and when required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE : The minimum education, training and/or

  • Education/Licenses: Degree level education preferred

  • Experience: At least 4 years’ experience in supporting manufacturing or distribution processes. Good knowledge and experience of using an ERP or TMS system. Experience in consulting or implementing an ERP or TMS system would be an advantage.

  • Computer skills: Excel, Word and general PC software skills (e.g. email / Internet)

Other knowledge or skills:

  • Must have excellent communication skills

  • Basic presentation skills

  • Technical skills

  • Capable of understanding business processes
