Collabera Workday Tester in Deerfield, Illinois
The QA Engineer is responsible for the overall Business As Usual (BAU) Workday testing. This role is responsible for using the existing Workday testing framework to ensure any BAU changes happening in the existing application is tested properly and is User Acceptance Testing (UAT) approved.
Create Quality Assurance (QA) plan and get it reviewed & approved with project stakeholders.
Design & execute test cases
Conduct UAT and get the UAT signoff
Conduct defect triage calls with project team
Provide test execution plan to project manager
Work with Business Analyst to gather the test requirements
Update test cases & test execution in ALM
Prepare the test result report & give a walkthrough to project stakeholders
Use existing automated script to run the regression test
Prepare test strategy for Workday major releases
Work as a team to complete any unplanned request
Perform testing as and when required
Understands and complies with established departmental processes and procedures designed to support internal controls efforts. Identifies and brings to the attention of department management internal controls deficiencies.
Successful incumbents will have:
3+ years of hands-on experience as QA
Familiarity with best practices in software QA and ability to champion best practices
Strong written and verbal communications.
2+ years of Workday testing experience preferred.
Knowledge of test automation preferred.
The incumbent in this position is responsible for ensuring end-to-end test activities for BAU workday projects which includes but not limited to test planning, creating test artifacts, test execution, result documentation and obtaining signoffs.
