ITS Technologies & Logistics HRIS Analyst in Darien, Illinois

The HRIS Analyst is responsible for supporting the HR technology, system maintenance, project/process improvements, report writing, and training. The primary focus of this role is to continue to develop and refine our human resources software. This position is hands-on and requires strong knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems, specifically Ceridian Dayforce. The HRIS Analyst will also serve as a technical point of contact for assigned functional areas and the subject matter expert ensuring operational effectiveness, data integrity, testing of system changes, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
Improve system efficiency by monitoring system performance and identifying processes that need improvement
Support ongoing HRIS upgrades, testing, enhancements, and other technical projects as assigned
Partner with Ceridian Dayforce Manage Services for benefits and payroll, to include data feeds
Maintain system integrity by conducting routine audits
Manages internal controls, compliance, and regulatory items
Provides production support, including researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements
Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assist in the development of standard reports for ongoing business needs.
Collaborate across Corporate Functions: HR, IT, Payroll and Finance, to ensure data accuracy and reporting activities
Act as key resource to our Super HRIS Users across the organization who are responsible for data input and integrity at the local level
Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Train new system users
Lead HR technology initiatives. Develops requirements and works with vendors and users to design and implement programs.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, Human Resources or related area
5-7 years experience in HRIS with a minimum of 3 years of Ceridian Dayforce experience
Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
Multi-industry experience is a plus
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills are mandatory
Proficient in Outlook and MS Office suite of products
