Kelly Services Quality Supervisor in Dakota, Illinois

Kelly Services is working with a food manufacturing company in Dakota, IL for Quality Supervisor on a direct hire basis. Applicants should apply directly or email resume to kiml519@kellyservices.com.

Pay: $60-80K based on experience/qualifications

Shift: Rotating 12hour shifts- 6AM-6PM

Responsibilities and requirements:

Duties and requirements of Quality Supervisor

  • Minimum of 2-5+ years in experience in a food manufacturing environment

  • Comply with GMP and SQF standards

  • Oversee a small team of 6-8 quality inspectors and quality checks.

  • Oversee quality and all internal and external inspections.

  • Address daily quality issues during production and document findings.

  • Attend quality meetings internally and with customers.

  • Suggest alternative methods and procedures while problem solving.

  • Train site on proper processes, procedures, and inspection practices of food handling.

  • Monitor and maintain the quality program (QRMP) and HACCP programs.

  • Must have strong problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task, and accountability.

  • Advanced knowledge of quality systems and Microsoft Office Suite is required.

  • Bachelors degree in Food/Science or related field preferred
