Kelly Services Maintenance Supervisor in Dakota, Illinois

Food & Beverage Manufacturing company in Dakota, IL is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor on a Direct Hire basis to oversee all maintenance aspects of production equipment, training, safety, and employee performance. Shift: 1st or overnights available-12hr rotating shifts

Pay: Competitve pay based on experience

Additional Responsibilities and requirements:

  • Must have previous maintenance experience on production machinery in a manufacturing environment.

  • Minimum of 8+ years in experience is required in industrial maintenance and electrical maintenance.

  • Previous experience in the food or auto industry.

  • Experience working on gears, conveyors, pumps, PLC, and controls.

  • Preventative maintenance on industrial equipment.

  • Able to hold employees accountable to meet company expectations.

  • Responsible for overseeing up to 10+ employees.

  • Experience with six sigma a plus.

  • Strong mechanical and electrical hands-on experience is required.

  • Vendor relations for administering agreements, contracts, negotiations, and prep.

  • Engineering or Technical degree preferred.
