Priority of responsibility is for safety first, quality second, and production third.Production:Loads, unloads, maintain machining centers. Inspects products, records, information, maintains records. Load/unload and run a pallet table or indexing Automatic Machines as assigned to.ResponsibilitiesInterpret and enforce company policy to employees.Authority to require employee to clock out and leave premises if employee is insubordinate, acting in an unsafe manner, or for any other justifiable reason. This will result in a meeting between shift supervisor, manufacturing manager and employee to resolve the problem before employee is allowed to return to work.Supervise and coordinate the activities of employees in order to accomplish given list of duty assignmentsRecommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of productSuggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of his/her work crewAssist employees in solving work problemsRecommend or initiate personnel action, such as promotions, discharges, transfers, and disciplinary measuresFollow training and retraining procedures for all shift personnel. Qualify operators on jobs with tests and evaluationsComplete Daily Machine Hours ReportReport personnel, machine, or quality issues to the All Shift SupervisorMulti-task; able to deal with multiple problems occurring at onceEffective communicator, both verbal and writtenDisplays initiative and a team building playerGood interpersonal skillsAbility to train othersWorks with integrity and ethically
