Our client in Cicero, IL is looking for Warehouse Associates to join their team. In this position you will learn multiple bakery production jobs, many of which support machine operator positions. Responsibilities include the consistent production of a high quality product in a baking facility while incorporating safety and sanitation standards. This position is committed to ensuring the best quality products and excellent customer service by following good manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities

• Performing various entry-level positions including: Loading and unloading pans from production line.

• Loading and unloading oven and/or proof box.

• Filling in for absent positions in production or packaging areas.

• Taking appropriate action to ensure the integrity and sustained certification of the food safety and food quality system.

• Responsible for reporting and taking necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurring.

• Responsible for following and enforcing procedures outlined in the Food Safety Plan, Food Quality Plan, and any other programs that support the SQF system and other 3rd party audits.

• Performing other duties assigned by Supervisor, including waste disposal.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• working weekends
