Overview

The Vehicle Delivery Technician performs light maintenance on vehicles, completes pre-delivery inspections, conducts the in-fleeting process according to procedures and shuttles vehicles as necessary. This position is of routine difficulty requiring the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative.

This is a full time position working 40 hours per week at a rate of $15.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-fleet servicing on new vehicles according to company required procedures and utilizing the delivery checklist

• Inspect new vehicle deliveries from transporter for damages and/or missing parts and complete the delivery receipt as required by the manufacturer

• Perform light maintenance on vehicles in fleet

• Shuttle vehicles to Regional/Group locations as necessary

• Perform other related duties as required

• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality

• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to operate an automobile and shop equipment in a safe manner

• Must have good written and verbal communication skills

• Comfortable working independently or in a team environment to accomplish goals

• Must have good time management and organizational skills

• Comfortable working independently or in a team environment to accomplish goals

• Ability to work in fast paced environments with demonstrated ability to multitask and meet established deadlines

• Ability to demonstrate attention to detail for accuracy in performing data entry duties and various tasks

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs on a daily basis

• Ability to work outdoors during inclement weather including extreme heat or cold

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Must have a high school diploma or GED

• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

• Must have a valid drivers license with no more than 1 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years, and no drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 3 years (DUI/DWI) Must be able to understand, read and write English

• Must be willing to work outdoors in the elements (inclement weather including extreme heat/cold)
