Kemper Corporation Temporary Workday HRIS Specialist in Chicago, Illinois
Kemper is looking for a talented and experienced Temporary HRIS Workday Specialist to work at our Chicago, IL office. The HRIS Workday Specialist is a member of the team supporting and enhancing our HRIS system, Workday.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interact and partner with HR and Technology teams to provide information and support pertaining to Workday
Design, develop and implement solutions to meet business requirements
Coordinate and schedule implementation dates (installation, change management, training, go live)
Manage any operational or technical issue(s) through to resolution – escalate project risks as necessary
Ensure regular summaries of progress are provided to all key stakeholders
Must possess excellent judgement to prioritize work, handle multiple projects at once, and meet objectives
Provide support for any issues raised to the HRIS team
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
2+ years’ experience providing Workday HCM design and configuration
Workday configuration experience in the Talent, Compensation and Absence space
Experience configuring and supporting one or more of the following Workday products is required: HCM, Integrations, Learning, Payroll, or Time Tracking
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Corporate Operations experience is a plus
Must have excellent verbal/written communication, user interaction & interpersonal skills and work well in a team environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while working in a fast-paced environment
