POSITION SUMMARY:

Kemper is looking for a talented and experienced Temporary HRIS Workday Specialist to work at our Chicago, IL office. The HRIS Workday Specialist is a member of the team supporting and enhancing our HRIS system, Workday.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interact and partner with HR and Technology teams to provide information and support pertaining to Workday

• Design, develop and implement solutions to meet business requirements

• Coordinate and schedule implementation dates (installation, change management, training, go live)

• Manage any operational or technical issue(s) through to resolution – escalate project risks as necessary

• Ensure regular summaries of progress are provided to all key stakeholders

• Must possess excellent judgement to prioritize work, handle multiple projects at once, and meet objectives

• Provide support for any issues raised to the HRIS team

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years’ experience providing Workday HCM design and configuration

• Workday configuration experience in the Talent, Compensation and Absence space

• Experience configuring and supporting one or more of the following Workday products is required: HCM, Integrations, Learning, Payroll, or Time Tracking

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

• Corporate Operations experience is a plus

• Must have excellent verbal/written communication, user interaction & interpersonal skills and work well in a team environment

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while working in a fast-paced environment
