Kforce Technical Support Technician in Chicago, Illinois

Kforce has a client in search of a Technical Support Technician in Chicago, Illinois (IL). The client is in need of 1 resource to perform break & fix/deskside support work on weekdays and potentially on call after hours and on weekends. Your home base should be on the North Side of Chicago.Essential Functions:

  • Candidate must maintain good customer focus meeting deadlines and service level agreements (SLA's)

  • Technician will travel to each client's location includes residential service

  • Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs Desktop, Laptop, Server and Printer

  • Works independently under general supervision

  • 2 years plus of supporting Desktops, Laptops and Printers

  • 2 years plus with customer service experience

  • Reliable Transportation (This is a driving position - reimbursed accordingly)

  • Clean work and driving record

  • Able to possibly work weekends, staggered or late shifts

  • Personable as they will be interacting with a wide range of users and environments

  • Can work on a ladder of lift and are able to lift up to 50 pounds

Basic Needs/Haves:

  • Able to work from a bent, crouched, or kneeled position

  • Smartphone with tethering/hot spot capabilities (Reimbursed within Corporate Guidelines)

  • Laptop

  • Basic Hand Tools

  • Possess a valid driver's license
