All Sogeti USA prospective candidates must:

Bachelors and/or Masters Degree from an accredited institution.

Be a US Citizen or a current permanent resident Green Card holder. Sponsorship now or in the future is unable to be provided for this role.

Be currently residing in the Chicagoland area. Non-local candidates will NOT be considered as onsite will eventually be required.

Willingness to travel/commute throughout the entire Chicagoland area possibly including to as Far North as Waukegan, once allowable.

You will lead planning, implementing, overseeing and maintaining server and network infrastructures and projects. In this role, you will work with IT subject matter experts to maintain as well as enhance the server environment in a stable manner in order to facilitate goals. A dynamically changing environment will expose you to new technology and provide constant learning opportunities.

We are looking for a bright minded, self-motivated, teamplayer with a strong background and skilled with a high degree of intellectualcuriosity and abilities with:

Administering, running and maintaining clients Windows server infrastructure in production.

Developing and maintaining installation and configuration procedures; contributing to and maintaining system standards, policies and procedures.

Maintaining system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, performance tuning, troubleshooting system hardware, software and operating system issues.

Ensuring correct installation, configuration, use and maintenance of windows server infrastructure.

Installing new/rebuild existing servers and configuration hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standard and project/operational requirements.

Researching and recommending automated approaches for system administration tasks where possible.

Following best practices to adhere to enterprise architecture.

Creating and maintaining documentation and transferring knowledge to other team members.

Being a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently for on-time delivery.

Technical Requirements:

Windows Server 2008, 2012 and 2016 Administration.

Linux /CentOS Administration; *nix.

Setting up and configuring virtual servers.

PowerShell, Bash/Shell scripting.

Azure IaaS experience preferred.

Industry certifications (CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft MCSA/MCP/MCSE, VCP).
