Sr Cloud Engineer

job summary:

Our client in the FinTech space is looking to add a Senior Cloud Engineer to their team in Chicago.

This person needs to be extensive professional experienced with AWS and Kubernetes. This person should also be experienced with Chef, Puppet or Ansible.

This role is remote for the time being, but plan on being back in the office by mid to late 2021.

responsibilities:

You can expect to:

• partner with Development groups to build and deploy

• Responsible for application integration activities for monitoring tools using tools such as DataDog and SumoLogic

• Analyze software applications to identify vulnerabilities

• Design and maintain infrastructure automation tools

• Production experience with Docker/Kubernetes at scale

• Improve reliability and availability

• Ensure system security through industry best practices

qualifications:

• Experience level: Experienced

• Minimum 5 years of experience

• Education: Bachelors (required)

skills:

• AWS (5 years of experience is required)

• Kubernetes (2 years of experience is required)

• Docker (1 year of experience is preferred)
