Location : Remote/Field-based and can sit anywhere within the Thermo Fisher Scientific footprint, within the United States

How you will make an impact:

Senior Implementation and Validation Analyst responsible for gathering customer requirements and implementing and validating product as required. Work with Product Development and Technical Support Department on implementing new features and resolving issues.

What you will do:

This role will work as part of the overall implementation team and be able to lead projects, independently and deliver on time and within budget. Previous LIMS experience required, preferably with Thermo Fisher Scientific Watson LIMS. Position requires previous experience working in a laboratory, preferably in a Bioanalytical lab. Experience with instrument integration and some programming is desirable. Knowledge of validation and GAMP guidelines is required. Extensive knowledge of validation and GAMP guidelines is required especially in regard to IT Infrastructure Control and Compliance in regard to hosted system. Ability to travel 50%.

• Software validation expertise

• Expertise in Validation requirements

• Consulting and/or configuration of Thermo Scientific products

How you will get here:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree required or higher in scientific or information technology field

Experience:

• Knowledge of Informatics solutions such as LIMS, CDS, or ELN systems,

• 5+ years of requirements gathering and design specification writing

• 5+ years' experience in the service delivery business

• 5+ years of LIMS validation experience (Gamp)

• Experience with Gamp IT Infrastructure requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• At least 50% travel requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Self-motivated with an ability to learn new skills independently
