DeVry Education Group Senior DevOps (Machine Learning) - Remote in Chicago, Illinois
The Senior Analyst is a part of the Analytics Center of Excellence and plays a key role in integration and deployment of machine learning models, The Senior Analyst works closely with the senior leadership to understand their needs, with other technical teams to understand deployment needs and assess the best deployment solution. This role will be intricately involved in with the data science team to deploy machine learning experiments in the areas that help maximize the prospect conversion in the admission process, the persistence and the success of students enrolled into many programs offered under various Adtalem brands.
Identify and build solutions to connect data sources, extract data, run machine learning algorithms and deploy results.
Integrate solutions using file storage systems and resources.
Monitor and control solutions, ensuring they keep running at the lower cost possible.
Ensure that solutions comply to Adtalem security needs, are scalable and leverage best integration options available.
Work with multiple stakeholders to deliver automated workflows in a timely fashion.
Works within cross-functional and cross-institution project teams to solve business problems.
Synthesizes recommendations into management-ready presentations with recommended actions.
MBA or advanced degree (in an area such as Computer Engineering or Computer Science) and management consulting/professional service experience are desirable.
Minimum of 3 - 5 years of cloud computing work experience.
Ability to work in a dynamic and cross-functional environment, where multiple conflicting objectives need to be prioritized and achieved.
Superior written and verbal communication skills including influencing and consensus building.
Intermediate knowledge in Python language.
Must have experience with AWS Glue, Sagemaker, Step Function, Lambda, and API Gateworks
AWS Certification (Solutions Architect, Developer or DevOps Engineer) is a big plus
Must have proficiency in using query languages such as SQL.
Must have experience with databases, such as SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake.
Good scripting and programming skills.
