Serve as primary system developer for the Salesforce.com Lightning environment with 1000+ users
Handle all development including APEX, Visualforce, Triggers, Batch Processes
Lead application developer lifecycle activities which include: Analysis, Design, Custom Development, Testing and Implementation
Manage Salesforce.com data feeds as well existing/ new integrations established with internal or 3rd party applications
Work with Growth Technology team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development and change management activities.
Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
Independently carryout development UAT, QA, documentation and implement new features and functionality and maintain current application.
Effectively act as the liaison between our users, vendors and the application development team
Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements
Ownership of solutions, responsibility over translating functional requirements into technical solution
Proactively seek out and identify system enhancements beneficial to current application as well as management of new releases to Salesforce.com including system rollout.
Work with our Salesforce Operations team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development and change management activities.
Expand use of Salesforce.com – attend planning meetings, assist with determining if /how Salesforce.com can be used in new ways as opposed to purchasing 3rd party applications
Ability to identify new critical requirements as part of new population on-boarding including people, processes and data migration.
Lead the development through business initiatives and confirm the solution meet the specifications and standards defined.
Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent education/experience
5+ years working in a software engineering capacity; previous related industry and consulting experience highly preferred
3-5 years of Salesforce.com platform experience (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, General Configuration, Community Cloud, etc.)
2-3 years of Force.com development experience (APEX, Visualforce, Triggers, Batch Processes, Lightning, etc)
Deep understanding with technical capabilities of VisualForce, APEX API’s, APEX Triggers, and APEX Web services
Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills, and highly developed Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel) required.
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team with documented history of successfully driving projects to completion. Excellent project management skills, including Agile and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Strong reporting background using standard reporting tools including standard Salesforce.com reporting functionality and strong data management abilities.
A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements. Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding of the platform with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflow, validation rules, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity.
Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality.
Take complex business operational concepts and articulate them to audiences of varying perception levels
Previous experience working in SCRUM or agile environment preferred.
Strong preference for candidates who are Salesforce.com certified in the following areas:
