Aerotek Quality Technician in CHICAGO, Illinois

Description:

-Performing wet chemistry lab analysis on raw materials, in process, and finished product including but not limited to: pH, viscosity, specific gravity, physical properties (color, odor, appearance), as well as performing IR Spectroscopy and FTIR

-Perform micro testing/swabbing

-Checking all incoming raw materials including chemicals, bottles, and labels

-Performing line audits to ensure that filling and compounding operations meet customer requirements

-Writing logs and reports of all findings in Microsoft Excel and other data management systems

-Send daily emails to Lab Manager and Quality Director to update on findings from the shift

-Interact with corporate team in San Francisco to discuss any issues that may arise
